Ten-Point Customer Charter
The following charter has been created to protect you in your purchase when using Carol Vorderman Overseas Homes as your agent. The developers of any project recommended for sale by Carol Vorderman Overseas Homes have all agreed to abide by the relevant points within this charter:
1. Every new property sold “off plan” will have the initial deposit guaranteed in the event that work on the property fails to start. Subsequent payments will only be required once Carol Vorderman Overseas Homes has received, on your behalf, an architect’s certificate confirming that the relevant stage has been reached.
2. Where appropriate, each property will be delivered with clear freehold title.
3. All requisite building permits and licenses will be in place before sales begin, or substitute guarantees will be in place.
4. A seven-day cooling-off period following the decision to purchase will be available to the buyer.
5. A 10-year building guarantee is provided for all developments (similar in coverage to NHBC)
6. All marketing and promotional material will be clear and will avoid misleading terminology.
7. Full after-sales support available from a highly skilled and knowledgeable team.
8. Any buyer participating in a customised viewing trip as offered by Carol Vorderman Overseas Homes which results in a property purchase through us, will be entitled to a full refund of monies paid for said viewing trip.
9. The personal attention of a dedicated customer liaison advisor throughout the buying process to be provided by Carol Vorderman Overseas Homes.
10. An individually tailored website constructed without charge for any buyer wishing to rent their property.* This to be provided by Carol Vorderman Overseas Homes.
* The individual rental website would not apply to any properties at The Landings due to the nature of the management of these units, the resort is run by Rock Resorts as a hotel and no owner generated rentals are permitted (unless processed by Rock Resorts).
